Snow Day!

This is what we woke up to this morning.........

Lots & lots of lovely snow. Miss Charlotte was extremely excited & wanted to get out into the snow in her pjs!! I did manage to get her to wait for 10 mins so I could get her dressed & G could arrive. So then it was straight out into the garden for an hour's fun in the snow.
Back inside for a change of clothes & some warming hot choccie - mmmmmmmm!

Paul had battled his way into work along the treachorous M4 at 15 miles an hour at some points as he couldn't see very far! He stayed until lunchtime, then headed home again.

After G's nap, we headed on outside again for some more fun in the snow, this time going across the road to the little park.

My little snow angel!

Daddy getting in on the act with the snowballs.

Here you go Daddy - watch out!

You got me!

I have a photo of me at nursery in a red bobble hat where Charlotte looks just like me. I'll try & look it out & scan it in.

Mmmmmm, what does snow taste like?

We had such a fun day today, the whole country ground to a halt with a small amount of snow. It was like everyone was on holiday today & outside having fun in the snow!

Another snow day tomorrow - can't wait!

The Wiggles - but there are only 3!!

Here is Miss C's latest artwork. It's a picture of The Wiggles - Anthony, Geoff & Murray (she still doesn't count Sam as a "proper" Wiggle yet!).

I had to take a pic of this one as she'd drawn it on a whiteboard so we couldn't keep it!!

Paul & I were very impressed & proud with this one!!

Pizza Hut bargain!

Thanks to a friend sending us the link, we had a half price voucher for Pizza Hut which we used last weekend for a lovely family afternoon stuffing our faces!

After the yummy pizzas, Miss Charlotte & Paul wanted to try out the unlimited Ice Cream Factory. Paul filled their bowls to the brim & they added all sorts of sweeties & chocolate sauce to the top!

I really didn't think Miss C would be able to finish her massive bowl of ice cream, but true to form (she takes after her Mummy!), she managed to finish it all off. Funnily enough she didn't want tea that night!!

With our tummies full, we headed home to finish off the afternoon relaxing with warm drinks & comfy blankets. Miss C decided to share Daddy's blanket. Here she is being tickled!

January pics

Some nice pics from January.

Charlotte & G playing builders in the garden.

G bought his igloo tent round for us to play with the other week. They had lots & lots of fun with it, even building a "wall" of "igloo blocks" made from toy & puzzle boxes! This completed their igloo & they had a door!!

After a session of playing in the muddy garden where they had got all the play food dirty, we decided to do some early Spring cleaning & wash all of the muddy food. Here are Charlotte & G drying up - they offered!!
Playing hairdressers - this is one of their favourite games at the moment - very sweet!
