A message for Nic!

Jenn, here's a message from Lottie to Nic to tell him how much she's missing him!

Stupid me had the camera round the wrong way when I took the vid, sorry you'll have to crick your necks to watch it!!!

Meeting Santa

Lottie had her preschool Xmas party this week. We went along with Lottie wearing her Xmas crown we'd decorated together. The minute we arrived she asked "where's my Santa?" & was very put out when I told her he would be along later!!

They all had lots of fun playing games, singing songs & eating lots of yummy food (check out Lottie's chocolate chops in the pics!).

The mums & dads came back in time to see Santa arrive to say hello to the kids & give them all a lovely present.

Lottie wasn't too sure about going up to see Santa, which is why there aren't any pics of her receiving her present from him, as mummy had to go too! Hopefully one of the other mums got a good pic that I can upload at a later date. She did wait very patiently for her name to be called out though.
Lottie was very lucky & was given a cookie cutter set & some glittery play doh to play with.

Xmas is coming!

We got our christmas tree today from the local garden centre. It's the first time we've had a real tree so I was very excited when we went to choose it!

When we got home we put on some christmassy music & decorated the tree whilst dancing round the living room. Well, Lottie & I did anyways, while Paul told us we were mad! Lottie loved decorating the tree & most of the decs ended up on the bottom layer of the tree!

A big thankyou to Jenn for the loan of her gorgeous christmas decs for the tree. We have put the Nicholas decoration on the tree to help us feel like he's here with us!!

Teddies Bedtime

How cute is this! Lottie has been very busy this afternoon playing with her dolls & teddies. They have all been put to bed in various toyboxes (the toys have been unceremoniously dumped on the playroom floor!) & covered with blankets to keep them warm.

The Noisiest Toy In Town!!

Here's Lottie playing with one of her birthday toys. It's a handbag which plays music at about a million decibels! There's a microphone for her to sing along to the tunes.
Lottie spotted it whilst out with Nanny Jen & fell in love with it. Grandad Dave bought it for her!

I have quietened it down a little by wrapping the music module in toilet roll but it's still noisy!!

Christingle Craft at preschool

Here's Lottie's latest craft offering from preschool.

It's a Christingle orange with sweeties on it. We had to light the candle as soon as we got home so she could eat some of the sweeties!
