Painting session

Spent the afternoon making Mother's Day gifts, we made baskets for the kids to put some homemade sweeties in (will be making those tomorrow!), decorated photo frames & then spent a long time making handprint pictures.

This afternoon we made baby 'chinos for the kids, they got involved in making them.

New Best Friend

Here's Lottie with her new best friend - Oliver. Oliver is with me 2 afternoons a week & loves playing with Lottie. They follow each other around all afternoon doing lots of pretend play. This week they have been doctors & patients, Gruffalos & train drivers - and that's just 1 afternoon!

Pizzas!

This week we added another dish to Charlotte's short menu list - pizza! I know it's not particularly healthy but hey ho!

We started off with pizza bases & put some tomato sauce on the top....

Then we popped on our toppings (they had the choise of cheese, ham, mushrooms, courgettes & sweetcorn). All 3 of the littlies had a ball doing this.

The kids were incredibly impatient while the pizzas were cooking in the oven and kept asking me if they were ready yet!

The finished pizzas....

Look at the smiles, George is trying to reach the pizza plate with his knife & fork.

Yum yum yum, I thought there may have been a little left for Daddy when he got home, but they polished off the lot, including a bowl of salad!

My little artist

Mel's new toy!

Look what arrived this week - wooo hooooo, my new Wii.
Well if Mr Tucker can spend heaps on new wheels for the Mustang, then I get to spend too!!!
Am loving Guitar Hero & am rocking on every evening! Charlotte loves watching mummy with the guitar.

Boo & look how cute I look!

Cooooeeeeyyyyy!!!

Fish face!!!

Bracknell Forest - half term

Why oh why did I think that a trip to Bracknell Forest during half term was a good idea!!
It was absolutely packed with kids running around screaming - what fun!
We stayed for a short while then disappeared for snacks & drinks somewhere quieter.

We did some squirrel hunting & Lottie found one!

Random pics

As it's been sooooo long since I last posted, here are a few pics from those missed months!

Pancake day!

Valentines Day

Here's Miss Charlotte busy decorating the cookies that George & I made this morning......

Bubbles in the garden

After we got back from the seaside, we played in the garden as it was still such a nice day.

Lots & lots of bubbles later, they were shattered!

Trip to the Seaside

We trundled on down to Portsmouth on Monday to visit the Blue Reef Aquarium. The kids really enjoyed the fishies etc & loved the outside play area. Amazingly they didn't get wet!

We met up with Nanny Jen & Auntie Lin while we were there, going for a yummy lunch afterwards. Lottie loved going for a ride on Auntie Lin's lap in the wheelchair when her legs got tired!

Nic's telling Lottie all about the turtles!
Me & the old dears. You can't see the big rip in the bum of my trousers here. By the end of the day my left butt cheek was hanging out!!!

Kept them quiet for a few minutes while we waited forever for their lunches!

Action shot!

Not sure what they are doing here but it looks like they are boogying on the beach!

Hmmm, guess who found stones in Lottie's trousers that night!!

Lottie's Sponsored Bike Ride!

At last, a new post! Apologies all, slight issue with broken laptop. Got a new one so now all sorted!

Lottie did a sponsored bike ride at preschool yesterday to help raise funds for new equipment for the preschool. Thanks to everyone who sponsored her. I think we managed to raise the most amount of money - £125! Will let you know what the preschool total is when they add it up.

Getting ready to go!

Look at the concentration on her face!!!!
