Finally, a new post!

Huge big apologies for the lack of posts recently. As you can tell life is hectic at the moment! Just coming into the busiest month for me (lots of Virgin Vie parties), and I've decided to branch out with my own team in November, making it even busier than usual. Mr T will be holding the fort on his own for at least 3 nights a week for a while. Oh well, it'll be worth it in the end!

We had a busy half term week last week, took Lottie trampolining, bouncy castleing, had a visit from Rachael, Thomas & Samuel, went to Arty Bugs' Halloween craft session (came home with heaps of artwork!) & managed to squeeze in a childminding interview on Fri morning!

Had brunch with Jenn, Mat & Nic at Nelson's Diner today (an American style place on the way to Basingstoke). The kids had a riot & spent a lot of time under the table giggling. I had a stack of pancakes - yum yum yum. Pity it was so pricey though. Wound Paul up by saying we should book the place for his 40th - not much time left!!!! (3 years!).

We then came home & Lottie made her birthday & Santa wish list, cutting pics of toys out of catalogues & pasting them onto her wish list. How cute!! She especially wants Santa to bring her the fire engine emergency centre thing from ELC (she tells me at least twice a day!). Think she'll be getting this from "Santa".

As you can tell, we see a lot of Jenn & Nic! Jenn helps me keep sane as a SAHM.

We are organising a Halloween party for the kids & some of Nic's friends next Wed, so watch this space, I promise to upload some pics of Lottie looking cute in her cat outfit!

Makro

Jenn & I hit Makro today & filled 2 trollies!

We now have enough loo roll, washing powder & Reese's peanut butter cups to last us a month!!

Scooter & Bicycle Girl

Am sitting outside on a garden chair in the driveway, watching the kids zooming around on their bikes & their scooters. Lottie is trying really hard to keep up with the older kids - bless.

Here she is on her scooter, she's getting quite quick on it now!

She's doing really well on her bike now too, it's only her 2nd time on it.

Libby's Birthday Party

Lottie had a fun afternoon today at Libby's 5th birthday party. We went to Fantasy World (an indoor play centre) & had 2 hours of fun!

Fun in the sun at Bracknell Forest

While Mummy was busy working at a Virgin Vie managers meeting, Lottie had a fun fun day with Nanny Jen.

Nanny collected Lottie from preschool, then they went to the Lookout Discovery Centre at Bracknell Forest where she played on the great adventure playground, went for a nature walk (looking for squirrels apparently!) & hiding behind trees, jumping out & shouting boo at Nanny!!

They also went into the Science discovery centre where Lottie got very wet in the water tray exhibit!!!

They both had a fantastic afternoon & are both exhausted now!

Thanks again Mummy for looking after the Lotster for me. I had a very motivating day at the meeting.

Quiet day tomorrow I think, I'm shattered too!

Harvest Festival with Lottie's Preschool

Lottie went to her first Harvest Festival service with her preschool on Tuesday morning.

We met up at preschool as normal, played for a bit, then all walked 10 mins or so to the church. Lottie was holding one of my hands, a gorgeous little girl called Ruby was holding my other hand. They kept skipping & hopping & being cheeky all the way there - cute!

At the church we met the lovely lady vicar - Elizabeth (or "Buff" as she likes to be called!!). She did a lovely short service (more of a chat) about harvest & tied it in with the colours theme that we're doing at preschool. We then sang a couple of very short versions of "All things bright & beautiful", Lottie joining in all the way bless her!

At one point, Lottie & Ruby were being cheeky little monsters & saying boo to each other - I can see little Miss Lottie will be trouble in school!!

After snacks in the hall & chats with the other mums, we then walked back to preschool (all the kids were shattered by the time we got back), had story time, then it was time to go home.

Really looking forward to the Nativity at Christmas!
