A message for Nic!

Jenn, here's a message from Lottie to Nic to tell him how much she's missing him!

Stupid me had the camera round the wrong way when I took the vid, sorry you'll have to crick your necks to watch it!!!

Meeting Santa

Lottie had her preschool Xmas party this week. We went along with Lottie wearing her Xmas crown we'd decorated together. The minute we arrived she asked "where's my Santa?" & was very put out when I told her he would be along later!!

They all had lots of fun playing games, singing songs & eating lots of yummy food (check out Lottie's chocolate chops in the pics!).

The mums & dads came back in time to see Santa arrive to say hello to the kids & give them all a lovely present.

Lottie wasn't too sure about going up to see Santa, which is why there aren't any pics of her receiving her present from him, as mummy had to go too! Hopefully one of the other mums got a good pic that I can upload at a later date. She did wait very patiently for her name to be called out though.
Lottie was very lucky & was given a cookie cutter set & some glittery play doh to play with.

Xmas is coming!

We got our christmas tree today from the local garden centre. It's the first time we've had a real tree so I was very excited when we went to choose it!

When we got home we put on some christmassy music & decorated the tree whilst dancing round the living room. Well, Lottie & I did anyways, while Paul told us we were mad! Lottie loved decorating the tree & most of the decs ended up on the bottom layer of the tree!

A big thankyou to Jenn for the loan of her gorgeous christmas decs for the tree. We have put the Nicholas decoration on the tree to help us feel like he's here with us!!

Teddies Bedtime

How cute is this! Lottie has been very busy this afternoon playing with her dolls & teddies. They have all been put to bed in various toyboxes (the toys have been unceremoniously dumped on the playroom floor!) & covered with blankets to keep them warm.

The Noisiest Toy In Town!!

Here's Lottie playing with one of her birthday toys. It's a handbag which plays music at about a million decibels! There's a microphone for her to sing along to the tunes.
Lottie spotted it whilst out with Nanny Jen & fell in love with it. Grandad Dave bought it for her!

I have quietened it down a little by wrapping the music module in toilet roll but it's still noisy!!

Christingle Craft at preschool

Here's Lottie's latest craft offering from preschool.

It's a Christingle orange with sweeties on it. We had to light the candle as soon as we got home so she could eat some of the sweeties!

Visit from Uncle Brend-on!

We had a lovely surprise visit from Bren today. He's over from Switzerland for a couple of days on business & managed to get over to visit us for the afternoon. Lottie was very shy with him to start off with, but soon warmed up to him, although she wasn't too sure about the scratchy beard!!

Uncle Brendon bought Lottie (or rather I bought on his behalf!) a cash register for her birthday. We have been playing shops all afternoon - she's hilarious. Will get some video of her & post it so you can all see.

Thanks Bren for coming over today & for the yummy lunch. Lottie managed to polish off a big bowl of pasta, followed by strawberry ice cream (Lottie asked for it herself from the waiter "strawberry ice cream please man").

Then we went to feed the ducks on the canal. After that it was back home for more shop role play!

Lottie's family birthday party

Sat 24th November, the Tucker & Rogers clans + friends descended on Preston Place!

Lottie had a fun time opening all her gorgeous presents. She was thoroughly spoilt by everyone & is loving playing with all her new toys. Thanks to all.

Nanny Bea made a fantastic strawberry shaped cake which was extremely yummy!
Nic enjoyed playing with Lottie's new cleaning trolley!
The kids played pin the tail on the donkey & with the new Elefun game that Auntie Lisa bought Lottie.

NCT Birthday Party

The remaining 3 of the NCT baby group (Lottie, Isaac & Thomas), had their joint birthday party on Sat 17th Nov. They had a bouncy castle & play party at a leisure centre in Aldershot.
Lots of fun was had by all the kids invited & there was lots of yummy party food afterwards!
Another year has flown by, I can't believe they're 3!

Fairies!

Lottie & Nic indulged in a spot of dressing up the other day. They both wanted to be fairies!

They stayed dressed up for about an hour, carrying round little pink handbags with them!

Lottie in boots!!

How cute! Lottie thinks it's funny at the moment ot put on our shoes & tramp around the house in them! She managed to get my long boots on & zip them up as well!

PS - hote cute does she look in her school jumper!!

Fireworks

Lottie finally seems to be getting used to fireworks. She was terrified last year & hated them, so we tried to gently introduce her to them this year. We got some sparklers & had them in the garden for 3 nights. Then watched the big firework displays from the garden & Lottie's room.

She was a little scared still, but liked the pretty colours. Maybe next year we will take her to a display to see how she is...

Autumn trip to the park

Jenn & I took Lottie & Nic to the park to feed the ducks & swans & have a play in the sunny cold.

They had lots of fun chucking whole pieces of bread into the canal for the ducks!

Then they wanted to catch the leaves as they were falling down from the trees - how cute!

Halloween

Another delayed post! So, what have we been up to since I last posted.....

Halloween - we had a kids' party at Jenn & Nic's with some of their friends. Jenn & I decorated the playroom with balloons, pictures & a haunted house picture that the kids stuck shapes onto.
Lottie dressed up as a pussy cat & Nic dressed up as a spider.
We set up some craft tables with play doh & glueing & sticking for the kids to do. They loved it!

Then we headed home for some trick or treating round Preston Place with the other children in the road. Lottie thought it was hilarious knocking on her own front door & saying trick or treat to Daddy!

Afterwards we headed over to a neighbour's for some grub & fireworks in the garden.

Finally, a new post!

Huge big apologies for the lack of posts recently. As you can tell life is hectic at the moment! Just coming into the busiest month for me (lots of Virgin Vie parties), and I've decided to branch out with my own team in November, making it even busier than usual. Mr T will be holding the fort on his own for at least 3 nights a week for a while. Oh well, it'll be worth it in the end!

We had a busy half term week last week, took Lottie trampolining, bouncy castleing, had a visit from Rachael, Thomas & Samuel, went to Arty Bugs' Halloween craft session (came home with heaps of artwork!) & managed to squeeze in a childminding interview on Fri morning!

Had brunch with Jenn, Mat & Nic at Nelson's Diner today (an American style place on the way to Basingstoke). The kids had a riot & spent a lot of time under the table giggling. I had a stack of pancakes - yum yum yum. Pity it was so pricey though. Wound Paul up by saying we should book the place for his 40th - not much time left!!!! (3 years!).

We then came home & Lottie made her birthday & Santa wish list, cutting pics of toys out of catalogues & pasting them onto her wish list. How cute!! She especially wants Santa to bring her the fire engine emergency centre thing from ELC (she tells me at least twice a day!). Think she'll be getting this from "Santa".

Here's some cute pics of Lottie & Nic having a rest at his place after a busy morning playing....

As you can tell, we see a lot of Jenn & Nic! Jenn helps me keep sane as a SAHM.

We are organising a Halloween party for the kids & some of Nic's friends next Wed, so watch this space, I promise to upload some pics of Lottie looking cute in her cat outfit!

More soon.....

Scooter & Bicycle Girl

Am sitting outside on a garden chair in the driveway, watching the kids zooming around on their bikes & their scooters. Lottie is trying really hard to keep up with the older kids - bless.

Here she is on her scooter, she's getting quite quick on it now!

She's doing really well on her bike now too, it's only her 2nd time on it.

Libby's Birthday Party

Lottie had a fun afternoon today at Libby's 5th birthday party. We went to Fantasy World (an indoor play centre) & had 2 hours of fun!

Check out the video of the kids with their toy trumpets - what a noise!
